Internet Speed Test AU is an independent Australian broadband diagnostic tool — built to answer one question honestly: is your NBN delivering the speed you pay for?

Why we exist

Most speed tests hand you a number and stop. The hard part — what that number means against the plan you’re paying for — is where people get stuck, and where an internet provider has no reason to help. We don’t sell you a plan, so we’ve no reason to flatter one. That independence is the whole point.

How the test works

Your speed is measured against an Australian server on Cloudflare’s edge network — so you’re testing your real local speed, not a link to an overseas data centre. Download, upload, ping and jitter are all measured in your browser.

Grounded in the real benchmark

Where we talk about “typical evening speed” or what a tier should deliver, we reference the ACCC’s Measuring Broadband Australia program and NBN Co’s published tiers — not marketing claims.

Internet Speed Test AU is operated by Eprotech Pty Ltd, an Australian company. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, NBN Co, the ACCC, or any retail internet provider.
