Internet Speed Test AU (“we”, operated by Eprotech Pty Ltd) is built to respect your privacy. The short version: the speed test runs in your own browser, and we never sell or on-sell your results to any internet provider or third party.

The speed test

When you run a test, your browser measures download, upload, ping and jitter directly against Cloudflare’s Australian edge network. Your result is calculated on your device and shown to you — we do not store it against your identity, and we never pass it to a retail service provider.

What we collect

• Aggregate analytics — we use privacy-respecting analytics to understand overall traffic (pages viewed, rough region, device type). This is aggregated and not used to identify you.
• No accounts, no personal details — the site has no login, and we don’t ask for your name, address, or contact details to use the tool.

Advertising

If advertising is shown, it may be served by third-party networks that can use cookies to show relevant ads. You can manage ad personalisation through your Google Ad Settings and browser cookie controls. We do not share your speed-test results with advertisers.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies/local storage — for example, to remember your light/dark theme preference. You can clear these anytime in your browser.
